Chanting Monks Studios will release the Bernie Wrightson CD-ROM mid- to late-1999. Fans can expect the extreme, the complete Bernie Wrightson.

Chanting Monks Studios and Wrightson himself are working closely together on the project, which has already begun. Aiming to be an even more complete retrospective than A LOOK BACK, the CD-ROM will detail the artist's life as an illustrator, painter and collaborator on some of the most talked about books and comics. From his earliest professional work, through his collaboration on the creation of Swamp Thing and the epic Frankenstein project, to character development for several movies (including the blockbuster hit Ghostbusters) to working with Stephen King, and his upcoming production work in California, the CD-ROM will include archived images and projects, interviews, features and photographs.

But that's not all. Also included on the deluxe multimedia compact disc will be several exclusive images, never-before-seen, and designed by Wrightson specifically for the project, as well as a video of the master at work. Wrightson will be filmed, start to finish, illustrating an original piece.

From then 'til now, it's a tribute to one of the most legendary artists of our time: Bernie Wrightson.
